I accidentally found some cool stuff on the web. First of all I would like to share one drawing with you. A young lady from France that loves cars and Mustangs as well, drew this pretty drawing. She also gave me a permission to publish it in my blog. So thanks, Valeriane Merci beaucoup pour Mustang Shelby!
Another cool thing I found today is this marvelous Mustang productions intro by Doug Hogan. I hope he could change those words into www.iwantmustang.com and give it to me so I could use it as an intro to my future iwantmustangcom YouTube videos.
And the last thing I was quite surprised to find it like this is a Mustang Sally song. It’s from a movie The Commitments (1991).
I found a wonderful family team on the internet. They call themselves Retro USA. Their slogan is “The Look of Yesterday for Cars of Today”.
“Retro USA is all about taking the retro styling of the 2005-2009 Mustangs, 2009 Challengers and the 2010 Camaro to a whole new level. It started with a brainstorm, one of those middle of the night ideas that wouldn’t go away. So, we did it. Build quality products. Sell them for a fair price. Have fun doing it.” -I took it from their website.
As I understand they produce chrome accessories to these vehicles and “This exclusive Retro USA design gives the part additional rigidity and assists the customer with proper alignment of the accessory on their vehicle. All accessories can be removed without damage to the vehicle.”
As I would say: these guys know where the chrome fits!
No. I won’t give up. I’ll keep bloging about my dream, about how I want a Mustang. I was dreaming about it today. If only I had a Mustang… Yeah…
One more music video. Mustang looks like a hobo here. Common, this video is great and it has a Mustang in it!
This entry is not for you actually. It’s for my Community building module teacher (hi there). I have followed this module for two months and the first task was to set up the blog and join the community you have never been before. So that’s what I did. Here you are reading Iwantmustang blog and I have an account in Allthefordmustangs.com community.
More about Allfordmustangs community. It was really easy to register there and I did it really fast. I had possibility to read forums, look though the pictures and comment on everything. I was also able to start my own discussion or even write letters to the other members.
It was difficult to be a real part of that community because only the owners of Ford Mustangs are attending it. And I only want a Mustang. Sometimes it’s not enough, it’s very important to show how are you going to achieve it. Well, I have my further plans but I want to continue this project in the future till I get my dream car in original way and don’t want to show my best cards at the first moment. This blog is only a beginning and Community building module is a great start and priceless knowledge about internet possibilities.
So the reason why I took part in this community was the size of it. Silly me, it’s much easier to benefit in a small community I guess. Also the website is well built although the design is not the best of the best. So you get the newest articles, the greatest pictures and cetera in one place and the information is very systemized what makes the journey though the site much easier.
I usually go back to that site to see what’s new – what Mustang 2012 will show us today, how will they surprise the fans, what new features will they serve? What are also very interesting are the pictures of Mustangs of the other people. What cars do they have, how do they take care of them, what changes did they made to them or how did they conserved the very old vehicle which they got from their grandfathers and so on.
As a participant I was more a lurker. As I have mentioned above I don’t have my own Mustang yet. If I would do, the others would respect me immediately. Well of course, I could take a picture with a Mustang near my Student-house and say that it’s mine, but I don’t cheat. I want to make it real.
The community was organized quite well. And the members were very active. For example after I signed in I wrote a greeting message on a public board and I got nice welcomes from the others immediately. There are also rules in the community. You cannot use slangs and short names, if you want to be a member of this community you have to be polite to others.
Commercial module behind the community? If I get the question right it’s the advertisement. You can see banners of the companies that are fixing cars, selling parts everywhere. Although it’s not that annoying, it’s just on the middle. There is no participation fee in the community, but hey organizes events for Mustang owners and then you have to pay a little fee. But it’s in a physical life already.
So thanks for reading this and a good mark that I will get for my Blog
Stay with my viral I made this summer to sell my scooter faster (on “Lithuanian YouTube” called Videogaga I got almost 10000 views within few days and I sold it quit fast. It includes Mustang.
This blog post goes for 60’s! Earlier I showed you some trailers from Mustang movies. I have also posted a lot of Mustang music videos. But now you can see the first steps of a Mustang in advertisement industry. There are more commercials of course and my blog is unlimited, but I really appreciate your time and trying to select the best ones:
First Mustang Commercial (1964) Ford Motor Company introduced the Mustang on April 16, 1964 with a commercial, shot at the New York World’s Fair.
This is my favorite from the 60′s, 1965 Ford Mustang Commercial
Stereo-sonic tape system in Mustang 1966
This commercial shows Ford Mustang full-line for 1967, featuring the new cabriolet and hardtop models.
Mustang makes it happen in 1968 commercial
According to this 1969 commercial Ford is the way you swing!
And I couldn’t hold this to the next entry, I love it, so funny! It’s from 2005, sorry
Hello fellows, this time I have something special for you and I hope you gonna like it.
If you are a Ford Mustang fan on facebook, you have probably already seen this video about four guys racing with Stangs on a Need For Speed game and later in a real track. I don’t know how much it is true video and how much it is an advertisement (probably 40:60), but I wish I could be one of them for that day. I heard people saying that after filming they got those Mustangs as the presents.
And here we have one crazy man who has probably a lot of spare time and is crazy about vehicles and… helicopters? And 3D modeling and animating! So, enjoy, all cars are unique and historically valuable. And a brand new Shelby…
Thank you for your attention and once you have read my article don’t hesitate to leave a comment of forward this blog to your friends.
See ya
You can see Mustangs in these two videos. I didn’t notice that there is a Mustang car in Kanye West’s Flash Lights music video before I started this blog! Unfortunately embedding disabled by request in YouTube so I can share only links. And ad a couple of pictures. And I don’t like Timbaland too much, but the vehicle is a nice spice to a video. Enjoy
I’ve just modeled a Mustang of my dreams. It looks like this:You can manage your own Mustang 2010 at http://www.firstbornmultimedia.com/ Enjoy your new wallpaper
